This paper analyzes the linguistic characteristics of the French spoken in Côte d'Ivoire. It aims to highlight the phonetic, lexical and grammatical characteristics that distinguish it. Through a methodological approach that is both explanatory and descriptive, we have been able to highlight the linguistic richness that reflects the country's ethnic and social diversity. It has also been possible to observe that the phonetic, lexical and grammatical particularities identified in the use of French spoken in Côte d'Ivoire underline the adaptation of the language to local realities, showing how French has become a vehicle of identity and communication in a multilingual context. On the other hand, these particularities also reveal the cultural and linguistic diversity of the country, as well as the influence of indigenous languages and colonial history on the evolution of the language.
