Sharon Edge Martin is a reading specialist and writer whose stories have appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Family Circle, Oklahoma Today, Outside, True West and other venues. Her poetry is included in Michael Bugeja's The Art and Craft of Poetry and in small press magazines. She writes a weekly essay for Oklahoma Observer and is a frequent reader in Oklahoma's spoken poetry scene. A book of poetry, Not a Prodigal, (Village Books Press) will be published in 2017. Froggy Bottom Blues is her first picture book.
