William Lip was born on November 28, 1950, in Antwerp, Belgium. Born into a family that survived the Holocaust, he attended a Jewish school for six years and was active for six years in a Zionist movement. As a pediatrician, his professional and social life involves consultations with Jewish, Muslim, secular, and eco-friendly infants and mothers living within the constraints of religion and so-called liberationist ideologies.
