In this reference book, Stéphanie Khalfa, PhD in neuroscience and psychologist, presents the MOSAIC therapy (Eye Movments and Alternating Stimulation for Cerebral Integration), an innovative approach to treating psychological trauma. Based on her research into the brain mechanisms of post-traumatic stress, the MOSAIC method offers an alternative to exposure-based therapies, allowing the patient to experience the desired emotional state without having to relive their trauma. Drawing on the stochastic synchronization neural model and inspired by solution-focused and experiential approaches, this therapy promotes a rapid, lasting and respectful tranformation of the individual. This practitionner's guide is intended for mental health professionnal and people specialized in care. It provides them with solid theorical foundations and pratical tools to incorporate MOSAIC therapy into their practice. Autorenporträt
Stéphanie Khalfa holds a PhD in neuroscience and is a psychologist, trained in numerous brief therapeutic approaches (EMDR, IFS, Hypnosis, Neurofeedbck....). She conducted research at the CNRS in Marseille (France) on the neural mechanisms of post-traumatic stress, notably through the study of EMDR. Based on the stochastic synchronization neural model she developped within this framework, she co-created MOSAIC therapy, an approach that centers on the patient's desired experience. She now supports mental health and helping professionals in integrating this method into their practice.
