Autorenporträt
Otto C. Ladanyi (Neumann) grew up in Hungary before World War II. He was shipped off to a work camp in Austria during the war. After being liberated at the age of 15 following the war, he returned to Hungary, where he completed his high school education. His life adventure brought him to Canada in 1949. He settled in Montreal and became a Chartered Accountant in 1959. Professionally, he worked his way up to becoming a partner in a Charter Accounting firm and then went into industry practice as a Vice President and Controller. He later became an independent consultant. His real-life accomplishments began once he met and married Hanny Blein, which has been his life's pride and joy. His legacy is in the family and generations that followed, despite the years of persecution against the Jews and those who wanted to see them eliminated.
