Dr. Geoffrey V. Guns is the Senior Pastor of Second Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. He has written numerous articles for The Christian Education Informer, in addition to various sunday school quarterlies published by the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Incorporated. He has served as the President of the Virginia Baptist State Convention (VBSC) and as the Moderator of the Tidewater Peninsula Baptist Association (TPBA). Dr. Guns is a member of the faculty of the National Baptist Convention Congress of Christian Education and serves as Co-Chairman of the Executive Council of Christian Education for the Division of Christian Education Accreditation and Credentials of the Sunday School Publishing Board of the NBC, USA, Inc.
