Just when you thought renowned Australian poet and illustrator, Marcus Ten Low, had gone back to minding his own business, here he is again with an amazing FOURTH volume of forty surprisingly fresh, more intriguing, and mostly longer funny poems for you and your friends to enjoy! These poems are a real blast, taking you on outrageous adventures of mayhem and intrigue in the course of our everyday lives. Have you ever met a man from Timbuktu? Tried to wobble a faulty snack machine? Watched an old Russian woman weeping at the foot of the city statues? Fed offal to your terrarium? Or tried to change a lightbulb in the middle of the dark? From mad criminals to dying gramps, and from quiz show hosts to long-lost friends, these are anecdotes of real ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Marcus's creatively inspired full-color illustrations throughout this volume are a sheer delight, complementing the nuances of every poem in a lovely and special way. These poems can be enjoyed under the covers, in the toilet, walking to work (but watch out for obstacles!), and anywhere where you feel like life is simply too much. This book is designated as ONE SIZE FITS ALL. Yes, even though you're not buying a teeshirt, you'll have a big FIT reading these! The assortment of poems means there is something for absolutely everyone!! Brace yourself for the reading adventure of a lifetime!
