Janan Terpstra was single until she turned 46. She spent 15 years co-leading a singles group at a large church in California, followed by four years as a missionary at a bicultural church in Chicago. Each of the many times that she was a bridesmaid, she wondered if God's best plan for her did not include a husband and children. Her faith journey taught her invaluable lessons about her Lord not just being Father and Friend, but Husband.
