Walid Phares is a world-renowned terrorism and Middle East expert. He is a senior fellow at The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and a visiting fellow at the European Foundation for Democracy. He is also a professor of Middle East studies, ethnic and religious conflict at Florida Atlantic University.
