Just when Genesis thought Driscoll couldn't take anything else away from her, they took her first and closest friend-Alric, who returns from summer break with no memory of the past ten years of his life, including all memory of her! Genesis has been pushed to near breaking under all this loss, and for what? For being born with rare power?Despite the Shadow Raiders insisting she run away with them, Genesis is determined to fight back and do whatever it takes to regain her family and Alric's memories. Even if it means sacrificing her own safety and comfort. Even if it means making a deal with the man behind all her suffering.Gateway to Arisha: Severed Memories is the third book in a young adult, contemporary fantasy series told in the voice of a young man who grew up hearing all about a school, mysterious abilities known as valta, creatures of fairy tales, and a gateway to another world.
Virginia Rose has always loved to tell stories for as long as she can remember. From a young age she would come up with stories to tell her little sisters before bed and eventually in middle school and high school she began writing down her ideas as novels. When she was 17, she started her debut series Gateway to Arisha and spent three years readying it for self-publication. Other than Gateway to Arisha, she has multiple stand-alone novels as well as two series in the works that she is excited to eventually share with the world. When she is not writing, she can be found knitting, drawing art of her characters, reading, walking in God's creation, or spending time with her family.
