Peg Tittle (pegtittle.com) writes issue-driven speculative fiction. Of her seven novels, two have been finalists for the Eric Hoffer Award (Gender Fraud: a fiction and It Wasn't Enough) and one (What Happened to Tom) is on Goodreads' list of Fiction Books That Opened Your Eyes To A Social Or Political Issue. In addition, she has written screenplays for two (Exile and What Happened to Tom), named finalist and semi-finalist, respectively, in several competitions.She was a columnist for Philosophy Now and The Philosophy Magazine and continues to write provocative short pieces, two of which were in IEET's top ten of the year, and one of which was published as a McSweeney's list. Many of these have been anthologized in Sexist Shit that Pisses Me Off and Just Think about It! While obtaining a Master's degree in Philosophy, she presented papers at the World Congress of Philosophy, the Congress of Learned Societies, and the Society for Philosophy in a Contemporary World. She also writes literary prose and poetry (chriswind.net) and provocative comedy (jassrichards.com) and, altogether, has received 13 Ontario Arts Council grants and published over 30 books.
