This research presents empirical evidence on gender wage gaps in the formal and informal sectors in the Department of Cusco in 2018. To this end, information from the National Household Survey (ENAHO) is used and, through the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition, it is inferred which part of this is due to differences in observable characteristics of the worker and which part is due to unobservable factors, which we refer to as gender wage discrimination.
