About the Author: Hon. Dr. James (Jim) Boynton Dr. Jim Boynton holds dual BA majors in Business and Accounting, with a minor in Computer Science. He has a Direct Masters/Doctoral program for a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Management degree. An accomplished author and speaker, Jim has been published in conference journals, periodicals, and editorials, and is internationally known for his work, The New Green Deal; Back to the Stone Age (under the pseudonym Shane Roberts). With 66 years of industry, consulting, and farming experience, Jim has held significant roles, including President and CEO of Focus NH Institute, and leadership positions in international organizations such as APICS and ASQ. He has contributed to educational reforms, including graduate curriculum development at the University of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Community Technical College. Jim's political career includes serving as a New Hampshire State Representative and County Commissioner of a 360,000-person county. He was also a candidate for the State Senate and an active participant in various community and state initiatives, including water resources and economic development. His military service spanned over two decades, including active and reserve duty in the Navy and Massachusetts National Guard, where he held various leadership and operational roles. Retiring in 2004, Jim moved to Tennessee, where he bred rare Desert Arabian horses until an injury ended his career in 2014. He now resides in a secluded community, enjoying a peaceful life amidst nature.
