This work explores the genetic behavior of these traits in old world cotton and will help cotton breeders to choose suitable parents for hybridization in their genetic improvement programs of cotton.This book / research findings may provide guidelines to the breeders for improving seed cotton yield and other quality characters in desi cotton by making selection of desirable plants.

Dr. Rakesh Choudhary wurde im Distrikt Jaipur in Rajasthan, Indien, geboren. Er erwarb im Dezember 2015 einen Master of Science (Agronomie) mit Auszeichnung und promovierte in Agronomie an der CCSHAU in Hisar (Haryana). Derzeit ist er Fachreferent für Agronomie in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ambala. Er ist Autor/Co-Autor von mehr als 21 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen.
