Ghost of the Mountain was an idea floating in my head since before I started college. Then, when I attempted said college run, I had a few scenes in my head that I could see clearly almost like a movie, but I would struggle with my words and managing my free time. Fastforward a semester, and my dad suffered a stroke. It was this that swayed me to pursue these ideas fully, or that I should at least try. (Also college goes nowhere, but that's my opinion.) Ghost of the Mountain was an idea floating in my head since before I started college. (Also college goes nowhere, but that's my opinion.) And so two years ago, I decided to seriously write every day, with a few hiccups and life moments, until Ghost of the Mountain was complete. And so it was under the original title "Witness," but that didn't stick. And so I bring you this mysterious journey, a dark self-discovery, in the claustrophobic city of Heartlake.
Autorenporträt
Much to the surprise of the readers, the author lives by some mountains. Ever since he was little, the Rockies had such an impact on me. They were so mysterious and strong, and somehow he would get the impression that they were somewhat kind. Weirdly enough, they were such an inspiration that he began coming up with folk tales and monsters that would inhibit and thrive in the mountain's scarce forests and numerous bald spots, some not so thought out, others drawn like they belonged, like animals. He was a weird kid with a lot of imagination, and a lot of free time apparently. If he had one complaint, most of it is private property, for the best hunting spots you need to know someone, but he decided that, living in Utah's pretty great, and he is lucky I was born near such wonders.
