Autorenporträt
Matthew was born in California where he grew up fishing and hiking the Sierra Nevada mountains with his father and brother. That would later transition to snowboarding, which took him to live in Switzerland for a winter in college. That was an eye-opening experience for a 19-year-old and made him more open to other people and their views on life. Once he returned to school he focused on the biological sciences where he met his wife of 26 years in chemistry class. From there, they moved to Oregon and Matthew's job as a field biologist sent him all over the United States to conduct surveys on endangered plants and animals. Now settled on the East Coast, he enjoys travel hockey with his two kids and exploring the weird and supernatural aspects of planet Earth and consciousness.
