Lee Hansen was born into an Army family. She has lived in several countries and explored many more. Lee graduated withhonors, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in International Affairs. After retiring froma career as a naval aviator, she founded The Global Corner, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching kids about othercountries and cultures. She and her husband live in Pensacola, Florida. Together they have five married children and sixteen well above average grandchildren. They share a home with their two dogs, Raven, a Labrador, and Lulu, a Plott Hound.
