Autorenporträt

Valorie Bridges Fant grew up in the picturesque town of Albion, Michigan. Her writing journey started when her son, Matthew, won first place in the regional Young Authors Competition hosted by his school. Encouraged by his success, Valorie pursued a course of study at the Institute for Children's Literature in Madison, Connecticut. Her newfound passion led her to secure a position at the Meherrin Regional Library in Lawrenceville, Virginia. While working there, she encountered heartwarming stories for children and discovered a world of young dreams. GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY is among those dreams. Valorie lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, David, her two sons, Matthew and Stephen, and her granddaughter, Brielle.
