Autorenporträt
Bill Tranum is an 86-year-old retired physician who worked as a hematologist/oncologist. He grew up on a farm in eastern Arkansas where cotton and soybeans were the main products. His family raised cattle as insurance in case of a bad crop production. After attending the University of Arkansas on an athletic scholarship, he attended medical school. Since retiring, he spends his time raising Beefmaster cattle and writing. After finishing this latest book, he said, "At the finish of any book, I think of all of the people who have better stories but never transcribe them to paper. Certainly some of those would have produced entertaining works. I hope others will give it a try."
