Norma K. Salway is a retired educator, parent, and grandparent living in Portland, Maine, where she enjoys kayaking, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her beloved family. During her retirement after a thirty-four-year teaching career, she has authored seven books, including heartfelt memoirs, poetry, and children's stories inspired by her life and the beauty of Maine. Her previous books are: The Spirit of Songo, Touched by a Hummingbird, I'm Just a Kid, You Know, The Attic and ME: History Encountered in a Maine Attic, My Maine School Bus Driver, and I Can Hear the Music.Norma continues to write, finding inspiration in her everyday adventures with friends and family.
