It is written for people who care about the natural world, who like birding and hiking and camping and care about all varieties of birds and animals from bison, coyotes, deer, rabbits, Sandhill Cranes, Western Tanagers, ducks and warblers and more; it is for people who care about the all the earth's forests and jungles and rivers and lakes. It also written for those who visit and support National and State Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, and local and National groups and organizations whose work is critical for the survival of our earth, birds, wildlife and all creatures.

Sandra Seth, author of Golden Aspens, Silver Wings, Our Shared Fragile Earth is a wildlife photographer, artist and writer. Seth hopes her wildlife photography and writings about nature will call attention to the to value of all life, especially birds and wildlife and the habitat they rely on for survival. Her work was selected for the Smithsonian Institution's Renwick Gallery Nationwide Juried Show and the Museum of New Mexico Biennial Juried Show, among others. Her many photography awards include winning Best Photograph at the Taos Fall Arts Festival Invitational Show; having a one person show of her paintings, "Transcendence;" being chosen as the Festival Artist along with receiving the Friends of the Bosque del Apache's highest honor, the Martha Hatch Award, an award given "to the person who best exhibits the characteristics of an ideal volunteer and who has made outstanding volunteer contributions to the Friends and the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. Her photograph titled "Sandhill Crane Pair- Reflections" was chosen as the Bosque del Apache NWR's Festival's theme. She co-authored Adobe! Homes and Interiors of Taos, Santa Fe and the Southwest, was featured in Janice Goldfranks' book Making Ourselves at Home: Women Builders and Designers, and was included in Stand Against the Wind, a Biographical Sketchbook of New Mexico Women, Seth has lectured on Southwest art and architecture at the Heard Museum in Phoenix,as well as being a Tour Leader and lecturer on Southwest art and architecture for Smithsonian's National Museum of American Art Forum. She was an Artist in Residence at Djerassi Foundation, Woodside, CA Valerie Graves, www.Valerie Graves.com, the illustrator for Golden Aspens, Silver Wings, Our Shared Fragile Earth has received numerous awards for her highly acclaimed oil and pastel paintings, including many Best In Shows. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Taos Fall Arts Festival, and is in a large number of museum and private collections; has had many one man shows; been in a number of group shows across the country. She was an Artist in Residence at Djerassi Foundation, Woodside, CA., was chosen juried show at the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery, and has been the Illustrator and co photographer for a number of books.
