Casey Dunn was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. When she was a child, she and her grandfather would sit together and spin tales about the adventures of a girl who lived alone in open country. These stories, and the dream to create tales of her own, followed her into adulthood.Currently, Casey is focused on writing southern gothic thrillers and stories of suspense. Her debut thriller, SILENCE ON COLD RIVER, was compared to Silence of the Lambs by Booklist, selected as an editor's pick by Amazon, and named a Book of the Month by the Southern Book Review. Her second thriller, A COLD WHISPER, will release in 2025 with Severn House.Casey is also the author of The Hightower Trilogy, published under pen name Jadie Jones (Parliament House Press.) The first book in the series won the Best Equine Fiction award at the 2018 Equus Film Festival in NYC, and was a finalist for the 2015 Frank Yerby Fiction award.She and her family live on a farm in Southern Oregon. To fulfill a promise to her children to write something she'd let them read, she self-published her first picture book: GOLLY MOLLY AND THE PERFECT PONY LIST.
