Robert F. Lawrence is an American writer with a diverse professional background that includes careers in radio station management, radio and television news reporting and anchoring, television news management, public relations, and newspaper and magazine journalism. His experience also extends to academia, where he has taught mass communications, journalism, and related courses at both the college and university levels. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate, he holds degrees in political science and English, as well as a master's degree in English.
