Where men of strength and courage finally meet their match. The stories in Grace and Treachery locate the great countervailing force of man's ambitions: his weakness for women. Desire, beauty, lust, cunning, the irresistible hypnotism of the female form, all conspire to put our heroes to the ultimate test. But it is not all antagonism. These heroines demonstrate an inner strength all of their own and play an indispensable role in the triumphs of their age. Featuring: "A Witch Shall Be Born," "Queen of the Black Coast," "Red Nails," and "The Shadow Vulture."
