Carol Fortino - Author Carol Fortino is a retired professor from the University of Northern Colorado, where she dedicated her career to environmental science and teacher preparation. A prolific writer, she has published four poetry collections, five contemporary novels, and a children's book. Her passion for storytelling and adventure is evident in Grannies with Gusto, where she captures the joy, wisdom, and rebellious spirit of aging with flair. Carol currently splits her time between Beulah, Colorado, and Chandler, Arizona, where she continues to write, travel, and embark on new adventures.
