Alex Frame, PhD, is a barrister in Wellington, New Zealand. His biography of Sir John Salmond, Salmond: Southern Jurist, was awarded the E. H. McCormick Prize and the J. F. Northey Prize for best legal publication. Frame has advised extensively on constitutional questions in the South Pacific and on Treaty of Waitangi matters in New Zealand.
