Robert C. Mackowiak is a military researcher, collector and writer with a long-standing fascination with the US serviceman's experience of combat during and after World War II. Robert's website, www.rcmcollection.com, features the items in his collection accompanied by thoroughly researched and detailed narratives. Johnny Shumate works as an illustrator in Tennessee. His greatest influences are Angus McBride, Don Troiani and Édouard Detaille.
