Autorenporträt
Jessica Zimmerman is passionate about helping gifted children shine-at school and at home. She serves as a Gifted Learning Coach at a gifted academy and serves on the board of directors for her state's gifted association. In 2021, Jessica received the Milken Educator Award, known as the "Oscar of Teaching," for her impact in education. Jessica understands giftedness on a personal level; growing up as Twice Exceptional, she knows the struggles that can come with learning differently. Now, as the mom of a gifted child, she's experienced the joys and challenges parents face every day in parenting a gifted little. Her mission is simple but powerful: to empower families and educators, so gifted children can grow with confidence, purpose, and joy. She believes every gifted child deserves to be understood, supported, and celebrated.
