She challenges each of us to dance, play, love and includes us all in her books. From the rite-of-passage anti-bullyingI Am Jack series, embracing our multi-cultural reality in Parrot Palace, and connecting to her refugee heritage to Ships in the Field , she brings truth and questioning to what we want for our world. CarolynDaly is a visual storyteller, writer and illustrator. She creates in her studio in Tasmania, getting lost in imaginary worlds of story, illustration and children's books. Carolyn's early career as a primary/art teacher sparked her love of visual storytelling for children, and she now spends her days (and nights) dreaming up quirky characters who are just looking for a story to land in!
