We've had pets of all kinds over the years, each with a unique story to tell. What amazes me most is the way that each animal, no matter their size, has brought something new and needed to our family life, something I'm excited to celebrate and share. Drawing my memories is my favorite way to do that. This book, the first in the Mitman Family Zoo Series, came about when our son's dog Tula came to stay, sometimes for short visits, and sometimes for longer ones. From the start, Tula kept us on our toes, reminding us to fully embrace the world around us and leaving us with plenty of reminders of our time together: Hair Hair Everywhere!
