Maria Zielenbach is a PhD researcher at the Vrije UniversiteitAmsterdam. Her project focuses on the diachrony of the Papuan NorthHalmahera languages of eastern Indonesia. Her further researchinterests include language typology, language contact, and Semiticlanguages (especially Aramaic).
