Professor He Qinghua was admitted as a postgraduate student at Central South University in 1980 with his self-study. After graduation in 1983, he joined the university's College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as a teacher. In 1999, he founded Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. For decades, he has been dedicated to teaching, research, technological innovation, and the industrialization of achievements in the field of engineering equipment. He has mentored dozens of master's and doctoral students, published four monographs, and over 100 academic papers. His outstanding contributions lie particularly in fundamental research, inventions, and the development and industrialization of innovative products in large pile machinery and modern rock drilling equipment. He has been honored with numerous awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize), the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Pile Machinery Industry, and the Mao Yisheng Geotechnical Engineering Technological Innovation Award. Long Guojian is a researcher at Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science&Technology Co. Ltd., and is currently vice president and chief engineer of Changsha Construction Machinery Research Institute, vice president of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, chairman of Hunan Provincial Committee of China Democracy Construction, vice chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC, and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. His research interests are mainly in construction machinery and concrete machinery. He was awarded the second prize for scientific and technological progress by the Ministry of Construction and was selected for the National Key Scientific and Technological Research Program (Major Technical Equipment) of the Ninth Five-Year Plan.
