Zahra Ghane graduated with honors from the University of Isfahan (2019). Her research interests are analysis of Persian date under the rubric of role and reference grammar. She was awarded the German SFB fellowship in 2017 and 2018 to cooperate with the B04 research group. She is fellow of ERC project TreeGraSP since 2020 where works on the grammaticalization of discourse markers in Persian. She has published on ESP and culture and art. Her ongoing research is on discourse studies, argument realization, and the interrelation of syntax and, semantics, and pragmatics. Dr. Reza Falahati is a lecturer of Professional English at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He has the experience of teaching a wide range of courses in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Canada, Iran, and the Netherlands. The results of his research have been presented in conferences and published in books and by the Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Springer, and various journals such as Journal of the Canadian Acoustical Association and ESP across Cultures. He holds an MA in education (University of Tehran), an MA in linguistics (University of Victoria), and a PhD in linguistics (University of Ottawa).
