This Valentine's Day book is written as a poem based on the traditional "roses are red, violets are blue" idea but with a bit of a twist. Its message is that there are many people in your life--including family, friends, and others--to whom you might want to give a Valentine's Day gift, but you don't have to spend a lot to give a lot. The poem suggests a number of simple things you might do to accomplish this goal (to give significantly), mainly by being nice, helpful, loving, and considerate.

Autorenporträt
Kathleen Whitham, who holds an AB degree from Indiana University and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina, was a French and Spanish teacher for over forty years. She is presently the owner and pastry chef of a pie and pastry business in Hillsborough NC. However, she considers her role as the mother of five sons and the grandmother of eight as the role of greatest importance in her life. For the past several years, she has enjoyed writing books for her grandchildren, many with a holiday theme, she has been the inspiration for the books she has published so far. She hopes that you and the children in your life enjoy this book as much as she enjoyed creating it.
