Alexandra Riseman is a writer and poet currently based in the Midwest. She holds a BA in English Creative Writing from Eastern Illinois University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago. She spends her days reading, writing, annoying her cats, and dreaming of traveling the world. Haunting of a Monarch is her debut poetry collection.
