At some point in life we all come to the crossroads, drawing a complete blank on Who am I, What am I, Why am I? At some point in life we all come to the crossroads, drawing a complete blank on Who am I, What am I, Why am I? I know why mental heath selects certain humans yet not others because this was me, searching for answers to the insidious little voice on my shoulder, to the endless emotional rolla-coaster, massive highs and lows, desperate for answers, a cure, or at least a way to cope without medications. I looked deep within myself, terrified of yet another mental breakdown. When your world feels like it is crashing down around you with nowhere to turn, relationships are failing-why? Heartbreak, learning the true meaning of love and deceit. I learned to truly understand myself from within, and found my own self-worth.
Writing this book was a journey in search of answers. As a female livestock contractor who was labeled with major depression and serious anxiety, life has been a very difficult journey. My heart was broken into a million pieces, and I searched for answers within the rubble. Being a child of domestic violence and sexual abuse led to self sabotage. I learned who the shadow truly was, how we drag our traumas through our lives, unaware we are even doing it. There is self-help, yet self-awareness is critical to finding direction and clarity about who you truly are. The truest enlightening and awakening you will ever get in life is knowledge, yet without wisdom it will only ever be knowledge. We all hold wisdom within ourselves; it is about learning where to look. One of the hardest lessons in life, this woman found, was to truly look within herself without rose-colored glasses. What were her true desires, passions, or loves in her life? Who was she without the armor?
