Suffering through traumatic experiences or just trying to survive them may destroy you if you are not seeking healing. This book will walk you through my journey of trauma and the issues that I faced because of it. My desire is to let people know that trauma is not the end. Trauma needs to be healed, and it is okay to seek help.

Stephanie Mitchell is a resident of Rocky Mount NC and has resided there since the age of sixteen. She is the mother of two sons, Antonio Morgan and Markeith Mitchell. Her three grandchildren hold a special place in her heart. As Stephanie started writing Healing Past the Hurt, she continued to work as a state board-certified cosmetologist, which has been her occupation for the last ten years. She is the proprietor of Braids and Styles by Stephanie LLC. Hairstyling has been a longtime passion for her. Her salon is located in downtown Rocky Mount. Stephanie is also the founder of Mending Our Hearts, a support group for women who have lost children. She has a passion and heart to see others overcome trauma.
