Joey Molinaro is a working, creative, and touring musician in many capacities. He writes black metal/ grindcore concept albums for acoustic violin, plays trumpet in heavy metal marching bands, DJs industrial motorcycle music, teaches 90s alternative to junior jazz combos, and plays pop music for money. He has lived in Pittsburgh, Indiana, and New York City and has a music degree from the IU Jacobs School of Music. His experience is colored with farming, activism, and vehicles that are equally cool and sketchy. Joey has logged thousands of gigs touring across dozens of countries in spectacular fashion. Storytelling has always been a part of his craft, culminating in the podcast, Tightrope, and the novels Heart of Gold, Young Nuns, and YearZer0.He now lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, kids, dog, and cat. He continues to organize concerts, play in bands, ride motorcycle, and teach.
