A lonely man attracts a serial killer after listing himself in the phone book as G.O.D. The phone barely rings, with the exception of incessant telemarketing calls, sometimes in the middle of the night. Geoff decides to take action, calling the phone company to get his telephone number unlisted. He learns there is a fee, which he tries to get around by listing himself in the phone book using his initials, which happens to spell out G.O.D. Fast forward a few weeks later when Geoff begins to receive mysterious calls in the middle of the night from a serial killer, who wants him to listen in on his latest murder, or else....
