Frederic J. Svoboda is professor of English at the Flint campus of the University of Michigan, where is also the English MA program director. He served two terms as a board member and treasurer of the Ernest Hemingway Foundation, and he is a past president and current vice president of the Michigan Hemingway Society. He is also the coeditor, with Suzanne del Gizzo, of Hemingway's The Garden of Eden: Twenty-Five Years of Criticism.
