Therese Taplick è nata il 21 giugno 1985 a Berlino-Pankow e ha conseguito il master in design alla HTW alla fine del 2014 con una tesi dal titolo "HempMade". La sua infanzia è stata influenzata dalla natura, dall'arte, dalla moda e dalle culture straniere, che in seguito ha liberamente trasposto nelle sue collezioni di moda. Il suo interesse principale è rivolto alla pianta utile della canapa.
