Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Monona, she grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the lakes, parks, and frequent visits to the zoo. Her formative experiences helped shape her imagination and love for storytelling. Now a devoted mother of four, Kim has continued the tradition of sharing the magic of nature with her children.
