Abhishek Tiwari, PhD, is a Professor at the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Lucknow, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India. Dr. Tiwari has received more than the equivalent of nearly $108,000 USD in grants from various funding agencies including the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, New Delhi, India. Dr. Tiwari has been granted 35 patents and has filed nine patents for approval. He has published 76 papers in national and international journals. He has published more than 24 Indian and international books and 40 book chapters with Elsevier, Springer, Bentham, Wiley, and Astral International. He has guided two PhD and is currently guiding seven PhD students. Dr. Tiwari is an editorial member for various national and international journals. He received the best author award in 2019, best teacher award in 2019, and outstanding teacher awards in 2014 & 2015. He completed his BPharm at Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India, his MPharm at M. S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy, Bangalore, and his PhD at Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, India. Varsha Tiwari, PhD, is a Professor with the Amity Institute of Pharmacy of Amity University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Tiwari has received more than nearly the equivalent of $1 million USD in grants from the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, New Delhi, India. She has been granted 28 Indian, three South African, and three Australian patents. In addition, she has submitted a number of patents for approval. She has published 10 books and 28 book chapters with Elsevier, Springer, Bentham, Wiley, and Astral International. She has also published more than 65 research papers and has guided several doctoral, postgraduate, and graduate students. She has organized many conferences and also delivered many invited lectures at conferences. Dr. Varsha received Young Scientist, Young Author, and Pharmacy Recognition awards at the national level. She completed her doctorate at Uttarakhand Technical University and her MPharm at M. S. Ramaiah University, Bengaluru, India. Ajay Sharma, PhD, Post-doc, is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacognosy, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, New Delhi, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. His research areas include drug discovery and development from natural sources, ethnopharmacology, metabolomics, plant biotechnology, bioactivity-guided fractionation, and bioconversions. He has published more than 90 research articles in peer-reviewed journals of national and international repute. He has also presented more than 150 papers at national and international conferences. He has contributed to five books and sixteen book chapters and has published 10 Indian patents as well. Dr. Sharma has been awarded with research grants from the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Ministry of Ayush (India), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) (India), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCOST). He has also received many prestigious awards. He is the member of various national and international bodies and has been listed in the world's top 2% scientists on the list of Stanford University.
