Megh R. Goyal, PhD, PE, is a former Professor of Agricultural and Biomedical Engineering, retired from the General Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez Campus. He was proclaimed as the "Father of Irrigation Engineering in Puerto Rico for the twentieth century" by the ASABE, Puerto Rico Section, for his pioneering work on micro irrigation, evapotranspiration, agroclimatology, and soil and water engineering. During his professional career of over 52 years, he has received many prestigious awards. A prolific author and editor, he has written more than 200 journal articles and several textbooks and has edited over 130 books. Anamika Chauhan, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science at Chanam Lal Madhavidhyalya Haridwar, Sri Dev Suman University, India, where she is also a member of the Board of Studies. The recipient of several awards, she has published research papers in peerreviewed national and international journals and has edited several books. She has also been associated with workshops and conferences. Her research interests and areas range across the right to education to nutrition and human health.
