Joyce Johnson has always enjoyed writing whether it be mysteries, poetry, historical fiction or children's stories. A resident of the Santa Cruz area for thirty years, she lives near the beach and is only hours away by car to the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. This ocean to mountain connection inspires her writing.
