A fascinating adventure along the Brazilian South Coast, revealing the historical and cultural heritage of Rio Grande do Sul. The lighthouses were built to withstand the fury of the waves and winds, but now they face vandalism, neglect, rust and loneliness. Preservation is important for those who venture out to sea, preserving the lives and heritage of those who depend on the sea for their survival.
