This is a topic whose importance is justified by the epidemiological and demographic transition underway in the country, by its greater cost-benefit compared to hospital care and by the need to build new forms of health care, in which the focus and center are people. Finally, it is worth highlighting the need to produce and disseminate knowledge about home care, especially in the context of a country like Brazil, whose national health system is large and complex, and whose ethical/technical/political project is disputed on a daily basis.
Autorenporträt
He is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine, with a Master's Degree in Collective Health and experience in managing public health policies. He is a family and community doctor at the Recife Health Department, preceptor of the Family and Community Medicine Residency and professor of medicine at the Federal University of Pernambuco/Caruaru-PE campus.
