Dr. Patricia Daly-Lipe is an multiple award winning author, artist and coveted speaker. Born in La Jolla, California, Daly-Lipe spent half of her childhood in Washington, D.C., the home of several generations of her mother's family. In 1961, after her mother passed away when Daly-Lipe was just 18 years old, she returned to Vassar College with a year at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and earned a B.A. degree in Philosophy. She also completed a Masters degree followed by a PhD. Patricia has taught English and writing, written for magazines, had a newspaper column, and sold many of her paintings. In 2017 Patricia received a "Lifetime of achievement and success" award from IAOTP (International Association of Top Professionals). As a single parent of three children, she raised, raced, and rescued thoroughbred horses, thus the inspiration to write Horse Tales. She now lives in Florida with her husband, Dr. Steele Lipe, and their menagerie of dogs, horses, and cats. Please visit www.literarylady.com
