Jason Nicholas describes himself as a self-proclaimed, semi-professional, international, interpretive dancer. However, he is also an entrepreneur and lifelong Deadhead from Boulder, Colorado, with three children, Kaylie, Ruby, and Max, and is a grandfather to Reagan and Emilia. His book is a tribute to his supportive friends and family, particularly his father, who instilled in him tremendous self-confidence, and his mother, whoshowered him with love no matter what his (80's hardcore punk rock) hair looked like.His works celebrate the power of imagination, the significance of family and friends, and his love for music, art, fashion, shining bright and celebration, all underlining a life lived with passion, resilience, and deep connections. Authored with love, Jason originally wrote this story for his daughter Kaylie in 1993. Now, three decades later in 2023, inspired by the Burning Man community to create art, he has brought to life the illustrations himself, blending AI technology with his seasoned Photoshop expertise.
