Throughout the world, humans are constantly seeking ways to improve their lives. The quickest way is to use everything that exists in nature, such as fauna, flora, and mineral resources. These are considered a source of wealth and vary from one country to another. In general, it is the rarity of this wealth that makes it valuable in economic terms. To this day, the future depends on nature and our responsibility. Because of this, our first task is to try to understand everything around us and how it evolves: that is, to describe the materials that make up our planet and how they evolve, which can be summed up in a single word: "geology." In geology, we combine several studies to collect information about a region or country, such as geomorphological studies, geochemistry, mineralogy, and others. The information thus obtained provides us with precise details on the location of existing natural resources. We will then focus on the study of underground resources, ranging from precious gems to semi-precious stones, some of which are astonishingly beautiful.
